As a painter I have always been fascinated by what colour can convey on canvas. I find no conflict in colours and it is my language expressed in oil on canvas; it is through the unconventional use of colour that I am able to capture mood and emotion in all my paintings.

The predominance of colour in the vast expanse around us and it's effect in our lives inspire me as an artist and my hope is that the way it is reflected in bold brush strokes in my work, will be the witness of a lust for life and the acknowledgement that we are the children of joy. I agree with the artist Maher Morcos: “In art, colour is the extravagance of life”
